Things have slowed down for me with Merch By Amazon.  There are a few reasons for this.  I will go into more in the Merch by Amazon section below.

Merch by Amazon

Because it was Q4, Amazon had to throttle views to certain t-shirts.  This is because Amazon was overloaded as its the busiest time of the year.  Merch by Amazon is still a new business for Amazon and they are currently scaling up.

Therefore, Amazon hides listing to stop making sales when they are overloaded.  This means that I ended up slowing down and losing sales.

Nevertheless, I still made some good sales.

Amazon Marketing Services Ads – AMS

The Amazon ads have totally slowed down.  I have not made a single sale through the ads.  Therefore, I have stopped doing the ads.

Etsy + Printful integration

This is still paused while I wait for the new year.

Freelancing as Web Developer

I have decided to do Web Development freelancing while I am developing my Print on Demand.  As my Print on Demand business is not making me enough money yet to support me full-time.  Therefore, I plan to do freelancing to provide me with another income.

My overall strategy is to develop my Print on Demand business while doing the freelancing.  Freelancing is considered a quicker way to develop a full-time income. The reason why I don’t want do freelancing in the long time, is because  it is trading time for money.  Whereas with Print on Demand can make money while I sleep.  The model I want to follow is being able to make something once and get paid for it over and over again.

I will write a more detailed post about my strategy around freelancing in the future.

Change of Healthy Routine

I ended up changing my healthy routine.  I had a hamstring injury and needed to do some rehab on my knee.  Therefore, I decided to change my healthy routine to the following:

  • Kettlebell goblet squats – 12 reps x 3 sets.
  • 1 arm kettlebell swings – 12 reps x 3 sets – per arm
  • 1 leg knee squats – 12 reps x 3 sets – per leg,
  • 1 leg knee bridges – 5 reps x 3 sets – per leg,

This has been going well – I aim to continue to do this.

January Goals

  • Focus on Freelancing – register for websites.
  • Continue to use my daily Merch by Amazon upload slots.
  • Continue with Healthy routine.

Wrap up

Merch by Amazon has slowed down for me this month.  Hopefully, it will pick up early next year.

This month is also a big change for me as I will be starting Freelancing to help me make a fulltime income.  I will keep you updated on my progress with this.
